Are you a reader? One of those folks who don’t go anywhere without the latest thriller? Then this is the site for you.
Since 2001, I’ve been the thriller and detective fiction reviewer for some of the largest newspapers in the country. Regular readers will have seen my newspaper column, Grit-Lit in the San Jose Mercury News, Contra Costa Times and dozens (hundreds?) of other fine family publications.
Why and how did I wind up with this absolutely outstanding job?
Because I’ve wasted a lot of my time reading bad books. Books that you won’t ever have to read.
And I’ve enjoyed countless hours of bliss reading the absolutely best in action and adventure fiction.
By my estimate, I’ve read over 5000 books (yes that makes me an um … older and experienced gentleman).
But I’m not just a reader, I’m a writer, too. With an extensive freelance career that includes major advertising agencies, products you’ve heard of like Quicken, products you’ve never heard of like Panamas surge protectors, a book about how to win a California Lemon Law suit. Plus I’ve got two major novels in the works.
So, if you are a reader who’s looking for the next great thing, or one who’s loves Spenser but has read everything Robert Parker ever wrote and are looking for a new hero to follow, you are in the right place.
